Natural Wall Paint

Natural wall paints are traditional coatings based on clay, lime, or casein. They offer a healthy alternative to conventional wall paints and create a pleasant indoor climate through their breathable properties.

The Three Classics in Detail

Clay Paints

Clay paints are the all-rounders among natural wall paints. They consist of finely sieved clay and natural binders. Through their excellent moisture regulation, they create a particularly pleasant indoor climate. The warm, earthy tones bring natural comfort to any room. Their positive properties can fully develop especially in bedrooms and children's rooms.

Lime Paints

Lime paints look back on centuries of tradition – and for good reason. They impress with their naturally disinfecting effect and exceptional durability. Thanks to their mold-inhibiting properties, they are excellent for damp rooms. Whether inside or outside, lime paints create lasting, breathable surfaces.

Casein Paints

Made from the natural milk protein casein, these paints are characterized by their velvety, noble surfaces. They combine excellent adhesion with high durability. These properties make them the ideal choice for high-traffic areas. Their water-repellent properties provide additional protection.

Versatile Application

The application possibilities of natural wall paints are impressively diverse. They harmonize perfectly with clay and lime plasters but can also be applied to plasterboard – here, only appropriate pre-treatment is necessary. They are also used on concrete, masonry, and in historical buildings. Casein paints are particularly well-suited for wooden surfaces.

Healthy and Sustainable

Natural wall paints actively contribute to a healthy indoor climate. They regulate moisture while being completely recyclable. Unlike conventional paints, they are free from harmful emissions. Their antistatic effect reduces dust formation, and if touch-ups are needed, they can be easily reworked.
